What is a Teleclass?

WONDERING HOW TELECLASSES WORK?

Perhaps you haven't participated in a teleclass before and wonder how it works. You might also doubt that you will get much out of a program that is run over the phone. You're not alone in thinking that in-person classes are the only way to learn - that is, until you experience the convenience and effectiveness of learning by simply picking up the phone.

"I was blown away by how effective it was to listen, and to 'hear' (as in absorb) in an environment of zero distractions. I loved it." Carolyn - Halifax, Nova Scotia

What is a teleclass?

Obviously, the more you participate the more you get out of the call but the choice is entirely yours. You can sit back and absorb the exchanges of others, ask questions for immediate clarification, or engage in the discussion and contribute as much or as little you want.

A teleclass is an interactive class or workshop conducted on the telephone via a conference line that connects you with a group of people including your facilitator. You don’t need any special equipment to participate… just a phone!

Once you register for the teleclass, we will send out dialing instructions including a phone number and password so you can access the call at the appropriate time.

(Please note: We use a US teleconference system so you will need to dial a US long distance phone number to access the teleclass.)

It’s convenient, fast and easy!

No need to get dressed up, no driving, no babysitter, no geographical restrictions. Just pick a quiet place and dial in.

What happens during the teleclass?

You will be greeted by Karin or Sheila when you enter the “cyber classroom” and asked to introduce yourself. The highly interactive format for the class includes lots of information, lively discussion, opportunity for questions and action steps to get you applying what you’ve just learned.
